Dimitris Koutsonikolas

Dr. Dimitris Koutsonikolas is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and currently a Collaborating Researcher at CERTH, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas. His main field of expertise is membrane processes for gas separation applications, with a particular focus on hydrogen purification, CO2 capture and membrane reactors, including their simulation, design, and experimental investigation.

He has experience with a wide range of membrane technologies and materials, with a special emphasis on inorganic membranes. He is currently the coordinator of the Horizon Europe project MODERATOR (https://moderatorproject.eu/) and serves as Principal Investigator in several European projects related to membrane technologies.
